1. Policy Overview
This Buyback Policy applies to two categories:
- Retail Customers: Individuals purchasing products for personal use
- Distributors: Independent business associates enrolled in our direct selling program
2. Retail Customer Returns
2.1 Return Eligibility
Retail customers may return products under the following conditions:
- Timeframe: Within 7 days of product delivery
- Condition: Product must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging
- Packaging: All labels, seals, and packaging must be intact and undamaged
- Documentation: Original purchase invoice/receipt must be provided
- Quality Issues: Defective or damaged products can be returned within 7 days
2.2 Non-Returnable Products
The following products cannot be returned:
- Opened or used products (due to health and safety regulations)
- Products with broken or tampered seals
- Products damaged due to customer misuse or negligence
- Clearance sale items or promotional products (unless defective)
- Products purchased more than 7 days ago
- Customized or personalized products
2.3 Refund Process for Retail Customers
How to Return Your Product

2.4 Refund Deductions
The following may be deducted from your refund:
- Original shipping charges (if applicable)
- Return shipping costs
- Payment gateway transaction fees (2-3% of order value)
- Restocking fee (if product packaging is damaged)
3. Distributor Buyback Policy
3.1 Purpose
Our Distributor Buyback Policy is designed to:
- Protect distributors from inventory risk when exiting the business
- Ensure responsible inventory management
- Comply with direct selling regulations and industry standards
- Provide financial security for business investments
3.2 Eligibility Criteria
Distributors may request a buyback if:
- They wish to terminate their distributor agreement
- Products were purchased within the last 12 months
- Products are in resalable condition (unopened, unused, original packaging)
- Products are currently being sold by Wellness Bharat
- The distributor has no outstanding debts or obligations to the company
- Products were purchased directly from Wellness Bharat (not from other distributors)

Important: The buyback percentage is calculated on the actual purchase price paid by the distributor, excluding any applicable taxes, shipping charges, or promotional discounts.
3.4 Non-Buyback Items
The following products are not eligible for distributor buyback:
- Opened, used, or consumed products
- Products with damaged, missing, or altered packaging
- Promotional items received free of charge
- Products purchased more than 12 months ago
- Discontinued products
- Seasonal or limited-edition items (unless still in current inventory)
- Products purchased from other distributors (peer-to-peer sales)
- Products that have expired or are within 3 months of expiration
3.5 Distributor Buyback Process
Steps to Request a Buyback
- Submit a written buyback request to distributor@wellnessbharat.in including your distributor ID and list of products to be returned
- Receive buyback authorization form from our distributor services team (within 3 business days)
- Complete and return the authorization form with original purchase invoices
- Pack products securely in original packaging and ship to our returns warehouse (address provided in authorization)
- Products will be inspected within 5-7 business days of receipt
- Approved buyback amount will be processed within 15-30 business days
- Payment will be made via bank transfer or adjusted against any outstanding dues
3.6 Deductions from Buyback Amount
The following will be deducted from the buyback payment:
- Return shipping costs (unless company arranges pickup)
- Any commissions or bonuses previously earned on the returned products
- Outstanding dues or payments owed to the company
- Administrative processing fee (if applicable)
- Restocking fee for damaged or incomplete packaging (10% of product value)
4. Damaged or Defective Products
4.1 Quality Issues
If you receive damaged or defective products:
- Report Immediately: Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Documentation: Provide photographs of the damaged product and packaging
- Inspection: Do not use or consume the product
- Return: We will arrange pickup or provide return shipping label
- Resolution: Choice of replacement product or full refund
4.2 Manufacturing Defects
Products with manufacturing defects will be:
- Replaced free of charge, regardless of purchase date
- Investigated to prevent future quality issues
- Eligible for full refund if replacement is not acceptable
5. Shipping and Handling
5.1 Return Shipping
Customer Returns: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is damaged or defective.
Distributor Buybacks: Distributors are responsible for shipping costs unless the company arranges a pickup (for large volumes).
5.2 Packaging Requirements
To ensure safe return:
- Use sturdy outer packaging to prevent damage during transit
- Include all original packaging, labels, and documentation
- Add bubble wrap or cushioning material for fragile items
- Seal packages securely with strong packing tape
- Mark the package as "Return - Handle with Care"

6.2 Payment Methods
Refunds will be processed via:
- Original Payment Method: Credit/debit cards, net banking, UPI, digital wallets
- Bank Transfer: For distributor buybacks or large refunds (NEFT/RTGS)
- Store Credit: Optional - receive 110% value as store credit for future purchases
Note: Refund processing time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider. Please allow 5-7 additional business days for the amount to reflect in your account.
7. Special Circumstances
7.1 Business Closure
If a distributor is closing their business:
- Must submit formal business termination notice
- Can request buyback of eligible inventory
- All outstanding dues must be settled
- Distributor account will be closed after buyback completion
7.2 Product Recalls
In case of a product recall:
- All affected products will be bought back at 100% of purchase price
- No time limit restrictions apply
- Company will arrange and pay for all shipping costs
- Customers and distributors will be notified immediately
7.3 Force Majeure
Buyback processing may be delayed during:
- Natural disasters or pandemics
- Government-imposed restrictions
- Logistics disruptions
- Other circumstances beyond our control
8. Compliance and Legal Protection
8.1 Regulatory Compliance
This policy complies with:
- Consumer Protection Act, 2019
- Direct Selling Guidelines, 2016 (Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Government of India)
- Competition Commission of India regulations
- Industry best practices and ethical standards
8.2 Cooling-Off Period
As per Direct Selling Guidelines:
- Distributors have a 30-day cooling-off period from enrollment
- During this period, distributors can exit the business with minimal penalties
- 100% refund of enrollment fees and product purchases (subject to product condition)
- No questions asked cancellation policy within cooling-off period
9. Fraud Prevention
To prevent abuse of this policy:
- We reserve the right to refuse returns from customers with excessive return history
- Products may be inspected for authenticity and condition
- Fraudulent returns will result in account suspension and legal action
- Serial numbers and batch codes will be verified
10. Exceptions and Modifications
We reserve the right to:
- Modify this policy with 30 days' advance notice
- Make exceptions on a case-by-case basis
- Refuse returns that don't meet stated criteria
- Update buyback percentages based on business conditions
